Let’s all raise a glass (among other things) to down-under lass Rebecca Rigg — not to be confused with Australian actress Rebecca Riggs (who appeared in the science fiction series Farscape). This Ms. Rigg is a pale but healthy brunette with steeled fire in her eyes and a chin that juts out in an imperious invitation to submit to her will. No wonder the ingénue won key parts on the boob tube when she was just starting out. During the 1980s, she played Gabe on the romantic drama A Country Practice (1983-1984) and Angela Reddy on the comedy Willing and Abel (1987-1988). In between, the braless babe (and her perfect pokies) could be seen in the TV movie Fortress (1986). By the 1990s, Rebecca was cast as Amy Preston on the Australian soap opera E Street (1992); Lindsay Straus on the US drama Michael Hayes (1997-1998); and Kelly Newman on the American series L.A. Doctors (1998-1999). Since then, she popped up on an episode of The Mentalist (2009) starring then-spouse Simon Baker. Throughout the years, Becky has appeared on numerous television shows (Blue Heelers, Rafferty’s Rules), miniseries (Emma: Queen of the South Seas, Come in Spinner, The Great Bookie Robbery), and big screen movies (Jerry Maguire, Fatty Finn, Hunting). But we’re partial to her part in Tunnel Vision (1995). The killer thriller stars Patsy Kensit, but Rebecca’s bra-clad mams, shapely gams, and hip-hugging skivvies are the motion picture’s real scene stealers. Suffice it to say, Ms. Rigg will make you feel big!
